Yorktown Naval Weapons Station

Yorktown, VA

At Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Bayside Concrete worked to complete three individual buildings on the grounds. The project entailed: a 7,000 S.F. building that includes a Humvee wash out station and sediment pit (pictured); a 30,000 S.F. warehouse with loading docks; and a 7,000 S.F. armory with an 8" slab on a sloping deck above it. Bayside Concrete also completed a variety of mechanical pads and paving. 

Norfolk Naval Ship Yard Commissary

Portsmouth, VA

Bayside Concrete completed the pile cap/grade beam foundations, foundation walls, structural slab on grade, and large, elevated, cast in place, radius concrete beams for the new Commissary at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility ​- Newport News, VA

For over 3 years, Jefferson Lab worked on building the new Technology and Engineering Design Facility, upgrading their utility and electrical distribution systems while completing a 130,000 S.F. expansion and renovating their Test Lab Facility. Bayside Concrete installed the pile cap and grade beam foundations, tunnels, pits, and cast in place walls. The new facility achieved LEED Gold Certification.

Brock Environmental Center - Virginia Beach, VA

The Brock Environmental Center is a LEED Platinum Certified building at Pleasure House Point built for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and is one of the most energy efficient and environmentally smart buildings in the world. The building was designed to meet the strict environmental standards set forth in the Living Building Challenge ​making it the most sustainable building in Virginia. Bayside Concrete completed the pile caps/grade beam foundations, cast in place structural columns and a cast in place elevated concrete deck.

Bayside Concrete provided concrete services for multiple buildings at Town Center including the pile cap/grade beam foundations, and slabs on grade for the buildings in Blocks 3, 5, 7, and 10; including stamped concrete at slab on deck at Block 5.

Verbolten Roller Coaster - Williamsburg, VA

Oyster Point Tech Center - Newport News, VA

Bayside Concrete worked with W.M. Jordan to build the Tech Center at Oyster Point retail shopping center project that included installing the concrete foundations and slab on grade for 15 buildings at the complex, where we poured over 180,000 S.F. of slab on grade.

Liebherr Mining Equipment

Newport News, VA

Bayside Concrete completed a 19,000 S.F. expansion to the current Liebherr Mining Equipment location. This includes foundations, structural slab on grade, truck ramps, retaining walls, and over 36,000 S.F. of concrete paving.

Dominion Power Warehouse

Chesapeake, VA

Bayside Concrete worked to install the foundation for a 32,000 S.F. warehouse for Dominion Power at their Chesapeake Energy Center. The warehouse featured a 14" structural slab on grade with multiple large equipment pads and crane bases.

Virginia Beach, VA

Bayside Concrete provided turn-key concrete services for the foundations, slabs on grade, and slab on deck for the 175,000 S.F. Field House. This facility houses four synthetic turf fields, eight volleyball courts, and four basketball courts.

TopGolf is a premier golf entertainment complex that featured a 240 yard driving range as well as an assortment of food and beverage options at the facility.
